Pete Kirchmer

Associate Director, Optimal Health Coaching

For the past 15 years, Pete has been dedicated to helping others achieve their greatest wellness potential. Pete graduated with a B.S. in Physiology from the University of Arizona, and is a Certified Professional Life Coach through the Coaches Training Institute (two-year program), a certified Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches Corporation / ACSM, a Stott-certified Pilates Instructor, and a Sports Medicine GRAVITY Master Trainer. His experience includes working as a Physical Therapist Aide, Pilates Instructor, Personal Trainer, Co-creator and General Manager of Freeform Fitness. For two years Pete was the resident Life Coach and a regular presenter at Rancho La Puerta, a world-class fitness resort in Tecate, Mexico. Pete has also presented Life Coaching workshops at The Golden Door Spa along with several other top gyms and wellness centers throughout San Diego and has provided continued education workshops for personal trainers and Pilates instructors around the country. His Life Coaching has been featured in Shape Magazine, IDEA Source and IDEA Fitness Journal and he has appeared in over a dozen fitness videos. By integrating Personal Training, Life Coaching and meditation techniques, Pete makes a consistent impact on the lives of his clients who describe his adventurous spirit and passion for life as inspiring and contagious.

Pete joined OHPRF in 2009, as an Optimal Health Coach and is now playing a prominent role as Associate Director, developing the Foundation’s Optimal Health Coaching Program.
